Man shot by S.J. officer says cop acted too quickly
Sitting on his living-room sofa, an attorney by his side, Moss said the harrowing episode had stressed out his wife and children: a 4-month-old son and 4-year-old daughter. He said all of them have had problems sleeping since the incident.
Moss said he armed himself with a semiautomatic pistol - which he bought a year ago when he was living in a tougher neighborhood - after he heard pounding on his front door Sunday morning. When he saw the doorknob twisting from the outside, Moss said, he pulled open the door himself, to find officers standing there.
